FAQs

FAQs
I want to get VegGrowing but have no idea where to start??

Ah yes, the eternal question. Fret no more, you've come to the right place. Go immediately to VegGrowing for Beginners to embrace the best decision you've made this decade.

Where's my stuff?

We keep most of the products that are on the website in stock for speedy dispatch to your goodselves but some of it does come direct from the manufacturer, so you may even receive your order in separate deliveries. We aim to dispatch your order within a week but you should allow up to 14 days. Plants can take longer to arrive as we are at the mercy of nurseries and nature and obviously, if you've pre-ordered items, they will arrive when available. We will always endeavour to keep you informed of what's going on and if there is likely to be a delay to your order. See our Delivery section for more info.

I don't have a veg patch but want to grow veg, any ideas?

We're all about the ideas! See our section on Potato & Veg Planters or Raised Vegetable Beds, to create your perfect patio allotment. See our VegGrowing guide VegGrowers do it in Raised Beds for more info.

I got my Veg Plants today, they're growing in a 6 Cell Tray but it says in the product description 8-10 plants. Eh?

Our veg plants in multi-cell packs are mainly 'double sown' which means 2 seeds are sown per cell so potentially, you could receive up to 12 plants per 6 pack. We state 8 - 10 because in our experience, this is the average number and we rarely come across a tray with less than 8 plants in. If we aren't sure you'll get at least 8 plants, then we state '6 Pack'. Where there are 2 plants in a cell, all you need do is gently tease them apart and plant seperately as they are individual plants.
